This is the HeliTown.COM's newbie RC helicopter pilot page. Regardless of your level of RC helicopter experience, you will be able to find your answers here. As I started this hobby from scratch myself (I didn't know even what "cyclic" meant), I know what questions you have in mind when you are contemplating this hobby. The most popular question everybody always asks is what is the best helicopter for your experience, style and of course your budget. We will have the answers for you here. If you can't find what your are looking for, just drop me a line. I'll find the information for you - all for free. This is just because finding information about RC helicopter or helping others to get into RC Helicopter hobby is the hobby itself for me. If you already have a specific RC helicopter in mind and are looking a specific RC helicopter information, check our navigation bar on the left for a list of RC e-helicopters.

Are helis that fun hobby?
General RC Helicopter Discussions
What is the best RC electric helicopter for you to start? I personally think that if you have no experience at all with RC aircraft models (regardless electric or gass/nitro), start with Blade CX or Esky Lama helicopter. If you have a little RC helicopter experience but not very serious, start with Blade CP heli or Esky HB FP heli or Esky HB CP2 heli. If you have some experience, money is not an issue, and are serious about the hobby, start with X400 heli, Trex450 heli or Shogun heli . This is my personal opinion only. I suggest that you continue to research some more on Helitown.COM before buying an RC Heli kit. Below are RC helicopter links to some Helicopter discussions on which helis would be the best fit for your exciting hobby goals.
